I had my surgery on Feb. 25..so far down -120 lbs. I'm very thankful for that!!! I feel great! However, for the last six weeks..I've been on a plateau...I see the same 3lbs go back and forth. I have increased my exercise...(maybe the muscle is building from the gym), I know I need to increase my fluids some more..but I can tell in my clothes that I'm losing inches. But, any ideas of how to beat this? I guess like many others..I get scared..that I'm done losing..but logically, I know I'm not. Hugs, Kimberly 296/176/145

Me too! I'm down 92 lbs (surgery 2/12) and I think I'm done. I'm 5'4" and now weigh 155 lbs which is only 10 more I weighed when I got married 25 years ago, so I'd be fine if I stop right here. I look pretty good and I feel pretty good and I haven't been able to say that for a very, very long time. I've only lost 2 pounds in the last 8 weeks (and nothing at all in the last 6) but I've also noticed that some of my clothes have changed again although when I measured, I couldn't find any major difference. It's kind of strange. I'd like to get a little lower, but only to provide a cushion for if I regain a little a couple of years out. I'm trying to focus again on counting protein and fluid very carefullly because I know I've slipped a bit. And THANK YOU! THANK YOU! to all who have posted lately about old habits slipping back in and the danger of grazing. I used to keep protein stuff at my desk for snacks, but it graduated into other less desirable stuff way too easily, so I now keep NOTHING here during the day. Can't graze on stuff that's not here ha! ha! I suspect we may all see tiny weight changes over the next year, but the majority of the weight loss is probably done (at least for those of us who are very close to a normal BMI). Here's to us! Way to go!!!!! Julie 247/ 155/ 140

Nope, I don't have a clue either. I've been on a plateau for 6-8 weeks as well. I can say this, though, I've had surgery and couldn't exercise much for a while and my hubby is stressing me out something fierce. At this point I'm just glad I haven't gained. Like Julie, I don't keep snacks with me at work. I just bring leftovers for lunch and that does me just fine. I have more trouble staying out of my husband's junk when I finally get home at night. However, now that I'm feeling better the exercise has increased, so I'm hopeful I'll start losing a little more again. I don't want to go too much farther with it, but don't really want to be done yet either. Let's just be hopeful together that things will work themselves out. Linn

Like many of you I'm going thrue the same thing. Is been 8 weeks since I lost my last 15lbs. I do notice my clothes fits bigger, but it doesn't show on the scale. My goal is 130lbs, which now I'm 150lbs. I do cardio at least 4 to 5 times per week. One of my problems is drinking water, I don't drink as much as I should. I just want to loose my last 20lbs, my husband tells me to be content with how far I have come, and don't get me wrong I'm very grateful. If I do have a hunger pain at work I eat grapes and cheese or watermelon. People tell me I don't need to loose anymore. I am only 5'1", and I have lost a total of 90lbs. Like you I have the same fears! Maria S
