Saddle Bag
Trisha,
I too have a saddle bag. For my waist and stomach I do 50 crunches with the ab machine at the gym with 60 lb weights, I also use a rotory ab where I lift weights as I rotate side to side sitting down. It is helping I do this 3x's a week. I am 8 months out and have lost 130 lbs. I am so looking forward to having my saddle removed!!!!

Hello Delainya,
Thanks for the advice. I will go to the local gym and try working out there.I have been walking and working out on my own at home.I guess I still have issues about working out in front of people. When I was 340 pounds and would go to work out people would stare and some would snicker. I am not that size anymore. Congrads on your loss

Hi Trisha I don't have any advice. I can only empathize with you. I hate my stomach also. My surgeon told me at 18 months to look into PS that I'd definately have to have the panni removed. I just don't know if I want yet another surgery. I have to have a fusion done on my back my L3, L4, L5 and S1 and I don't wanna have that done either. After my experience with WLS...not that I would EVER go back in time I don't regret having it done...I have never been thin my whole life and I am kinda liking this

Hello Vanessa,
My surgeon told me the same thing about 18 months. I don't regret this surgery either,it has changed my life for the better. My back is bothering me now from all the weight in my stomach.I am melting away everywhere but in the middle.Trust me I am not really complaining. I will try more exercising and be patient It is just nice to know I am not the only one with this saddle bag.

Oh yeah... the saddle bag .. With 158 pounds gone at my last weigh in I look like I am melting. I have wings under my arms, a saddle bag (or 2) on my belly, my butt (thank goodness I never had much of one) is hanging, my thighs... well, it is everywhere~! I will say though that the thing that bothers me most is the little wrinkled pouch of skin behind my chin near my neck. I HATE that one. The rest I can conceal with clothing, but I see that one every time I look in the mirror and it makes me crazy.
I am tiptoing up to weighing under 200 pounds. When I get there I have decided that I will have a huge party! Until then I will overlook the skin and I will keep on keeping on. My BMI was 62 (Yeah I know, OH MY!) when I started, and now it is 35. The skin will be there, but so will I now so I will deal with it.

Hello Amy,
Congrads on your weigh loss.My BMI started out at 57 so I know what you mean.I have wings and lil pouches on the insides of my thighs.Trust me I'd much rather have them than all the fat that use to be there. Even my saddle bag is better than what was there before. It is just that I seem to me melting all over except in the middle.LOL It's kinda like all the fat is gathering there. My back is really starting to hurt from the weight.I'd post a pick of it if it weren't so bad. So I am dealing with it to,just nice to know I am not the only one.
