Hi everyone, I am a little over eight months out, and my weight loss sure has slowed down. It seems like I have to fight for every pound now. Have you noticed the same thing? What can we do to speed it up again? Thanks in advance to all *****spond. Take care, Rhonda Carter -85 lbs

Mine has slowed tremendously. I was stuck for 6 weeks then lost only 3 lbs. But I'm making a point to stick to my plan...and up my exercise. And let it go. Because all I have control over is what I put in mouth and how I move my body...NOT how quickly it comes off. I'm confident I'm not done losing (sure I have moments of worry...but that's just panic and fear talking)...I know if I stick to a healthy plan I'll be alright. I figure my best options for getting things moving is to make as healthy a choice as I can to eat and move more. God Bless you on your journey, Jennifer 306/190/130

I know what you mean, I do worry sometimes that I might not lose much more, but it is going to be up to me if I want to. It's hard, but when I really put my mind to it, I do lose more. Good luck to you on weight loss journey, and thanks so much for responding, Rhonda Carter

I'm down to losing about 4-5# a month. I've been that way the past few months anyway. Even the weight loss planner puts my losses at the 5# region until I'm done losing - and that's if everything goes right. I'm not sure if there really is anything that can speed it up at this point. If you have your eating plan set up and you're exercising regularly, I think that's really all we can do. You don't want to substitute good nutrition and health for a few extra pounds gone, so it's just keep on keepin' on 'till you reach your goal. At my last surgeon visit I was told that the easy part is over, and we will be in a struggle for the remainder of the journey. I believe it! This is the time that the habits we've learned will keep guiding us through. Just keep on doing what you know is right and it will come off eventually. Linn

I seem to be losing about 1-2 lbs per week. I lost 7 lbs in September. I've lost 5 lbs so far this month. Cherrie 344/210/165

I have lost an average of 10 lbs per month. Last month I lost 8 lbs and this month I lost 5 lbs. So, It's slowing but I expect this. I am about 40 lbs from my goal. I have set my mini goals accordingly to loose fifteen pounds by Christmas and another ten by my one year anniversary in February. Then I figure the last fifteen I can battle during that second year that is supposed to be real tough. If I loose any more than that it will all be icing on the top.

Hi Rhonda, I also had surgery in February and I also had a slow down. In fact I stopped losing for 3 solid weeks, scared the hell out of me. Then I realized I wasn't moving enough. I joined my local Curves and away we went! I have lost 14 lbs in the last 3 weeks. In 19 more lbs I'll be down 200lbs. woopee!!! (not 200 just since February I had a revision from the vertical ring and have lost an additional 105 since February!) I found that when I started exercising I lost my appetite again and wanted to be up moving all the time, try it, it works. I'll say a prayer, Sandra
