Today I feel blessed...

I feel pretty darn good these days and my days are happier than they have been for years, but today is exceptional. My neice took pictures of me when she was here visiting about a month and 1/2 ago. This weekend, she sent me the pictures which I had forgot completely about. In the pictures, for giggles I had put on a pair of my "before" pants. There is approximately 20 inches of extra material in the waist where I used to fit, and I have even lost about 25 pounds since the picture was taken! Today I brought those pictures in to work to show a friend. People are talking about it and a stream of people have been to my desk to see the pictures. Everyone has been very kind and supportive and it has absolutely made my day. So far in my journey, I have lost 143 pounds. I have gone through some pretty difficult times during the past 7 months, but I would go through it all again to get to where I am today. I have a bit to go to get to my goal, but I feel like there is no way that anything will get in the way. It's a wonderful day isn't it?

Congratulations .... you've have done GREAT. It is amazing to see the before and afters. Whenever I "can't see" the change, I pull out my before and a recent after photo and then it reminds me of how far I've come. Haven't had a chance to take photos the last two months but will very soon so my profile can be updated. Yep, it is a wonderful day. Mary

Good for you, Amy! We're doing the happy dance with you!!! I also need to see the before and after pics or I don't believe what I see in the mirror. If you've seen my profile, what I still see in the mirror is me at 192 in size 16's. I take my clothes out of the dryer and can hardly believe I actually fit into them. I've never been this small as an adult, and I have hopes of getting 2 more sizes smaller. I think if I keep running it's definitely possible. I'm sure you'll make it to your goal! You've made amazing progress so far, and there really isn't anything standing in your way! Linn

I just love reading happy happy happy posts. Congratulations on your success. I get so tickled when I look at old pictures or try on pants that were tight 2 months ago that today are falling off. Keep going!!!! Enjoy the ride. Denise
