Who Would Believe It~Down 7 Pants Sizes!!!!!!
I am almost 7 months post-op and have finally gone to get some new clothes, since all mine are literally falling off!!! YEp can't believe it's true. I am noticing my body reshapeing everywhere but, also getting flabby. I am doing some exercizes but my wings on my arms are getting bigger with the more weight I loosse. I am down 130 pounds and wanting to loose 100 more. I am thinking about using some protien shakes again, just to make sure I am getting the right amount of protien. I do good with food no complaints here, I chew enough and eat slowly.
Hope everyone is doing good.
Jill

Jill,
It is amazing the transformation we go thru with this weight loss. Yes, I have flabby skin, but I really don't mind (99% of the time) because I am so much healthier. I still have a ways to go, but I am elated at the progress I have made.
Yes, getting enough protein in each day is such a necessity.
Congratulations on your successes too.

Jill,
That is awesome - doesn't it feel great to buy new clothes! I started out at a tight 28 - sometimes 30/32 and now my 18s are literally falling off. I also have discovered that I have bone structure! I have cheekbones, hipbones and other various boney structures that used to be hidden under a layer of fat. Congratulations on your awesome weight loss!

Congratulations Jill!!
I feel fortunate every day that I was able to have surgery. Very few people said anything when I was losing weight quickly, but now that I'm in sizes 6-10 (depending on manufacturer) I'm getting lots of comments. I've also noticed the re-shaping my body is going through. I can see muscle definition in my legs and arms, and I love it. I also have a bunch of loose skin that bothers me (mostly because I feel it moving when I run), but on the plus side - I can run! I'm planning on competing in a 10K race this coming Saturday.
I'm very happy for your 130# loss, and I'm convinced you are more than capable of losing the next 100.
Take care and keep us posted.
