SLUDGED!

Just wanted to update... The nurse at my PCP's office finally called me this morning and confirmed that my gall bladder is full of sludge. They couldn't tell whether or not I actually had stones, but after last night, I think there are some. They're just hidden in the sludge. I'll call around and visit with a surgeon and see what they think. One reason to have it removed is that my symptoms are getting worse. Very few things are palatable these days and I'm getting really tired of the nausea. I also never know when I'm going to have the intense pain. So, it looks like I've made my decision. Now I just need to find a surgeon and a date. Take care all! Linn

Linn, My mom had the same with her gall bladder. She still had the pain attacks with it and just not feeling well etc. Hope you feel better soon. I had my gall bladder out in 89 and it was a huge relief to finally not to have to worry when an attack would hit. Mary
