I've joined the club!
Hi all! Well, I'm very proud to say that I've finally joined the century club! I stepped on the scale this morning and I've lost 101 lbs!
It is nice to walk past a mirror in a store and see a reflection of a person I knew was inside of me and now is showing herself. Sometimes I don't even recognize myself and have to do a double take! The change on the outside is nice, but the change health wise is the greatest! Being able to do more and enjoy life is the best! I've noticed people treat me differently, seem more concerned about issues, and are much more friendly to me. That kind of makes me upset because I don't think I've changed, but their image of me has. Why do people judge us from the outside and not from what comes from the inside? Well, I've learned from experience to be happy with who you are, don't judge people and be the best we can be. I'm so happy for you!! And you're getting so close to goal. Simply wonderful.
I, too, have noticed that I get treated better now. But I also think that my behavior has changed slightly. I'm happier and joke around with people more now than I did when I was miserable. Folks have just joined in with my enthusiasm.

You've got such a positive look on life and that is a great thing to see. Your are right about the importance of being kind to all. I hope that attitude remains.
It's funny if I were to walk past a mirror in a store I would see a reflection of a 299 pound person. I had been morbidly obese for all of my adult life. Last week I was in the backyard and I happened to glance at myself through the livingroom window. I thought that my butt was huge and why after a 140 pound loss I looked the same. Yet when I look at myself naked in a mirror I see a way slimmer body, flat butt and lots of wrinkly loose skin. I wonder when my brain will catch up to the reality of my new shape that includes a waist and collar bones.
Glad to have you in the Club and hope you get to your goal soon. It seems these last 20-30 pounds do not want to let go!!

Great job! People do seemd to judge books by the cover, and I will tell you that I have been guilty in the past too. I do know one thing though you get out of life what you put into it. To all the Negative Nellies in the world Heed Marcias advice. Lets all congratulate her as well.
