Hello All, Guess what? I have a collar bone. I also have a waist. LOL I know I have always had these things but now I am able to see them. To my suprise today I was just going on merry way , taking the bus and such and I realized I sit in only one seat on the bus now. I can easy go through the turn isle as well.I didn't even think about it, I just went right thru.I remember when I had to turn sideways and suck in my breath to get thru them. I can remember shopping was always a hassle as well.I'd have to watch for someone walking by and turn every which way so they could pass, now I am able to just do my shopping and not have to worry if I am in someone's way. Life is so much better now. Before wls I always dreaded going anywhere , now I am just ready to go anywhere at anytime. Went to the movie's an I use to not fit very well in the seats . I was always tried to find a seat at the end of the row so I could hang half way In the isle instead of on someone trying to watch the show, now I can sit comfortably and I still have room on either side of me(YIPPIE) My weight loss is moving again, loss seven pounds last week. We all have truely been blessed with this tool. Some of us lose slower than others and I know this can be discouraging but we must remember we loss nothing before this surgery. So be grateful what we have accomplished so far and not compare ourselves to others. Keep on track and make healthy choices and don't beat yourself up to much if you do make a bad choice once in awhile. Just get back to what you should be doing. Take care and continued sucess to all. Guess what I have? VEINS!!! Gone are the days of rooting around when the doctor orders tests to find a darn vein. Also, I have collar bones, and something else...RIBS! I even have hip bones, something that I have not felt on myself since being a teenager! I also have lots of saggy skin, but who cares. I am wearing a size 10, and on my way to a size 8, thank God. As of today, I have lost 162 pounds. I am amazed. I am no longer the heaviest person in the room, in the house, in the car, at the store, etc....Wow. Thank you Jesus. Life is good. Now, I am getting my vericose veins fixed. They are beyond ugly and terrible. I am waiting on insurance approval. As soon as I get it, I am there. The doc could not fix them before, 'cuz I was too big. But, now, it seems that I qualify, and I won't blow the whole surgery from the extra weight. Thank God for my doctor, and my new life.

That's so fantastic!!!! I'm so glad to hear these wonderful observations people have. I've not been feeling well, and when I went in today for my ultrasound and HIDA scan, I was told by several people I didn't look like someone who ever needed gastric bypass surgery. What a thrill as well. I'm also amazed by the number of health care workers who are interested in asking about it. One of the radiologists even asked me how much I weighed before and what my life is like now. I'm always more than happy to answer these questions, because I'm so thrilled to have had this chance to make my life what I've wanted it to be for a long time. Here's to your continued success, and even more thrills in the future! Linn -87# and soon to be in a size 8 (my 10's are starting to get loose)
