Thanks for the reminder. My 6 Month check up is in two weeks and I really fell off the vitamin/calcium bandwagon when I changed jobs last month. The whole routine changed and I've been bad about getting it going again, but your note helped. I brought my vitamins, etc. into the office with me so that I can try to establish some type of routine. And as far as exercise goes....I lied the last time and I guess I'll try to be truthful this time. There IS no exercise; I'm full of good intentions, but they don't get me very far. AT least you know you're not alone; lots of us deal with the same things. I'm sure you ARE a good patient; but also a busy mom who puts everyone else's needs ahead of your own. ((hugs)) Julie

I was fooling myself. I thought I would breeze through the test. Yeah right, kind of like not studying for a big final, and I only hurt myself. I will do better and we all need to remind one another how important it is to take our supplements. Well, exercise is so hard for me. I wish I had Katherine's determination. I should have known my iron was low though. I felt so good after surgery and didn't need the mid day power nap, and have felt like I would die, if I didn't have one the past two to three weeks. I have a feeling a hysterectomy will be in my future, if I don't get my iron up. (it wouldn't be that bad of a thing, other than I want my next surgery to be a full TT) Hey, like I said, if I do the 30 minutes I lied about, I'll be ahead of the game. He did say I should add some strength training into my *routine* ha ha... It helps build or restore calcium. Debbie

Hi sweetie, You've ALWAYS been a wonderful inspiration for me and I love your honesty. I walked two miles this morning and hitting the gym this afternoon...never fail my vitamins bu****ch out protein. I think protien has become my evil step twin. I could eat a horse before surgery.......(no kidding, I would have if I could have got one to stand still long enough, haha) but now meat or yucky protein ANYTHING is not only a chore but neglected most of the time. You are loved, keep your chin up......and let your horse go free, there is no danger of my eating him now. LOL! Katherine (Silly and still resembles most blonde jokes)

I actually love your post. I think you have such a comical way of saying things. I wish I had your dilligence towards exercise. You will make it for sure! Debbie

Hi Debbi, I know just how you feel. My 6 month check up is in two weeks. I can get the protein in - no problem. But, those darn vitamins. I take Vista - so there are four in the morning and four in the evening. I also take Foundation calcium citrate - four in the afternoon. Not to mention B12. Add my regular meds to that and the fact that I can't just take one pill after another like I used to!! I tell you between vitamins and water, it's a full time job. Honestly, I haven't been good but I have recently taken stock and am doing much better. I hope my labs aren't bad or I'll have to add yet somemore PILLS. Paula A.

D.K. I think it must be a 6 month thing because I have been bad about taking my vitamins. I can tell a difference though and need to get back on track. I seem to be really tired all the time and I know it is because of low iron and lack of B12. I was really bad about going to the gym last month because I was on vacation then had family visiting and one thing led to another and I did not go. Keep the faith though and maybe we both will get better organized and take our pills! My 6 month check up is on the 26th so I better get my butt in gear. Liz -84

Debbi, I know it is hard ... but you have to make your pills, exercise, and food a priority. You definitely don't want to get sick. Wishing you the best. Mary
