Well, dear ones! Eight weeks to the day......I weighed exactly 219 after two months and fell into my own pity party. After I prayed, after I realized that my dear friend was with God (just as I long to be), and after I drowned in my own sink of self pity.......joy came in the morning. Four pounds over night.....after two months, geeez......can anyone wag their finger at me and go "Nanananananaaaa!, Told you so???" I gazed at the scales and then raised my eyes to heaven, waiting for the "proverbial lightening bolt", instead.....my soul heard Christ smile and laugh gently. I am such a silly, silly woman. My life is profound, my blessings are profound, my children and husband are profound, my grandson is angellically profound, you wonderful beings out there are profound but most of all........ MY FOOLISHNESS AND SELF PITY WERE PROFOUND, but Jesus loves me anyway! Hahahaha........gotta love me, can't trade me in on a new one! God Bless everyone and to God be the glory. That is great news. And after those 4 lbs there will be many more lost to never be found. I was feeling the same as you until this morning that my scale moved also. Keep up the good work. Annette -98

Katherine, Good Morning and great news losing 4 pounds Funny how our scales determine our mood for the day. I keep saying I'm going to hide the dumb thing, but of course I don't! My loss has greatly slowed down and I get upset too. Although I know I shouldn't compare, it seems everyone who had surgery in February has lost way more than I. I wish I would have known of the support and knowledge to be gained from this site months ago. And, yes Jesus is a wonderful and probably does chuckle at my actions too! Have great day. Paula A.

Paula, I suppose this is a fluke and you're not her, but the flower girl in my wedding 25 years ago was named Paula Ayres...I lost contact with her family after they moved. How old are you? Julie

I'm so glad for your Katherine. You are profoundly blessed, but you are also a blessing to each of us. Aren't you glad that Jesus loves us ALL the time; not just when we remember what we've got to be grateful for? My sister in law had the same experience; no loss for two months, then she dropped another 35 pounds very rapidly. I'll be praying that you experience the same. Julie

Katherine, We love you too, and I'm very happy to see you feeling better as well as being able to see the scale move. Stress messes us up anyway, and my guess is that once you were again at peace with God and yourself, things started working right again. Once again, VERY happy to see you feeling better!!!! Linn

Hi there! Just had to say that I know where you are coming from. I am so glad about your weight loss finally kicking back in. Ain't God Good? I know He is. Just look at us all. I tend to get carried away about the scale moving too. Sometimes I think it doesn't move just to make me a little out of sorts. (hahaha) None the less, it is wonderful to know that Jesus loves us just the way we are, and He opened this door just for us. Well take care and God bless!
