:-) 5 months today

Today is my 5 month anniversary. I'm so glad the scale starting moving again this week. I was getting very discouraged. I know I haven't joined the ranks of the century club yet (with post surgery weight loss) but with the weight that I lost before surgery and after surgery, I've lost 150 pounds! My renewal form for my drivers license came yesterday and it's a good thing! My photo from 4years ago doesn't look anything like me! Yeah the the red hair, blue eyes and height haven't changed but that photo!!!! I'll be glad not not have to show that for ID anymore!I think I will save it though as a reminder of how far I have come. I get down and at times and start wondering if this surgery is really working and if I will fail at this too. Happy anniversary to Mary and Katherine. I know we share the same surgery date. You're doing GREAT Linda!!!! That is quite an accomplishment of weight loss!! I can't wait until I can't be recognized by my license (most of my weight was carried in the lower body). You go ahead and count every pound toward your accomplishment, you struggled even harder before the surgery to get the weight off and I (for one) think that counts.
