Medications to avoid???

Hello friends. Question...which OTC medications should we avoid? I know that in my pile of literature I will find my answer, but it's so fun to see what you all come up with. I ask because I am developing a cold with a sore throat. Any dangers in Tylenol? Advil? Cold medication? I have taken nothing since my dear friend vicodan after surgery. I miss him. you dont want to takke anyting with ib.. like advil and motrin.. I cant handle myself Tylenol it gave me the foamies.. i threw up Tylenol foam for 6 hours straight it wasnt pleasent at all

my surgeon told me only take tylenol...I will only take one at a time and try to only use the gel caps...I have used robitussin but I try not to and I use nasal sprays (vicks makes a killer one) and sugar free cough drops... sarah

ive been taking ibuprofen for a toothache.. i had no idea i couldnt take it! aspirin isnt on that list, is there a reason why thats off limits? thanks in advance!!! Rachel 270/194
