I'm not considered obese anymore. One little pound made the difference on the bmi scale. I have really been loosing slow though. I have only lost 4lbs this month. I have about 12 days until my 6 month anniversary, but don't see loosing much more. I think it will take the full 18 months for me to make goal at this rate. Debbie -60 229/169/140-135ish

Congratulations Debbie!!! It sure must be wonderful to not be "obese"!! For having less than 100 pounds to lose, you are doing so great. Do you realize that you have lost 2/3 of the weight that you needed to lose (for goal) already? That is exactly where I am now too...I have lost 100 of the 150 that I must lose to get to goal, so I have lost 2/3. I think that you are right on track with all of us, if we did the math. I think from the recent posts that all of us have started to slow down to some extent, I wonder if it is a percentage of needed weightloss. Well, anyway, you are doing great, there is so much to smile about, Thanks for sharing with us, Dorothy

Thanks for the wonderful reply Dorothy. You really put it into perspective for me, and the visual aid of my scales helped. I have those little things on the side of my scale to track my loss. I have one on my weight pre op and then I have the furthest on my goal weight and the middle one on my current weight. You are right, it is exactly 2/3 of the way gone. It was a V8 moment. I may be loosing slow, but I'm making progress. Debbie -60

Congrats, Debbie!! Although you are losing slowly, I still keep seeing the losses go up and the weight dropping. I think you're still doing wonderfully and try not to get discouraged and frustrated. I'm right there with you, but even the weight loss planner only figures we'll lose about 5# a month from here on out. Great job! Linn
