Which foods don't agree with you?
Very intersting responses....we are all the same, but different...wow, that was a profound statement . I, too, think it may be a combination of foods that make me sick. I crave watermelon and haven't dumped on it yet and hope I don't. I haven't had very much ice cream. It's too dangerous (too good). I usually eat a SF popsicle or cream sicle if I have to satisfy a sweet tooth. Funny thing is before surgery I never had a sweet tooth, but I think I do now....maybe it is that I am always going after the forbidden..living on the edge. Still trying to make good choices. I want to loose about 42 more pounds. thanks for all the great responses. Happy Friday! Susan

Unfortunely, I can eat anything..I think. I haven't tried real sugar things. The only thing that I got sick on twicee, was pork rinds cause they were dry. That was early on. I have no idea if things are better now as far as that. I don't WANT to find out. I can live without them.
But right now, all I eat is protein. And since I have fractured ribs, I eat only soft protein. I don't want to risk throwing up. THAT would be too painful.

Hi everybody,
I too join those who can eat just about anything without throwing up. Once in a great while if or when I eat something sweet (yes I would rather have the real thing instead of sugar free ) if I've eaten too much I will get a little bit nauseous and dizzy but it'll last like 10 minutes and thats it..When i ate some grapes awhile ago my tummy did gurgle quite a bit so i stopped at just two not knowing if they were going to make me sick or not but strawberries and bananas are all right. I'm glad for that because it would've been real sad to never have any fruit again, I mean I can live withough chocolate (well maybe not around that TOM LOL) but fruit is supposed to be good for you KWIM? A couple of things I haven't tried are veggies except corn and isn't funny how after surgery I really notice the hard outside of the kernal LOL I mean when I do eat a little corn I;m usually spitting half of it out, I never did that before surgery. Also I haven't tried BBQ ribs yet and I love BBQ ribs... thank you for the thread. I don't usually post often as I am a little shy but I really do enjoy reading all the posts and learning from them..
Hugs,
Michelle
so far so good for me, i can drink chai tea, so my freind got me one from dunkin donuts, i only drank a quarter and got so sick i eneded up in bed. seems like there was a lotta sugar in it. i havent really pushed the bread envelope yet, i eat mstly proteins and seafood is the best. pork chicken and beef give me no problem and while in california last week i treid some salad and did very well. i find though that i am almost afraid to go out and eat because if i leave something the waitresses all ask if it wasnt good or is there a problem. I know its just me but i cant wait to go out and eat and enjoy myself rather than ask my tablemates to please eat some food for me so they dont think i dont like it.
