I hear that we will continue to loose 12-15 months out from surgery? Is this true for most people? What is the "honeymoon" period?

I was told 12 to 18 months out from surgery IF I followed the rules. The honeymoon period is usually 6 -18 months after surgery. It is the easiest time to lose weight. After that it is supposedly much more difficult to lose weight. So they recommend you follow the rules 100% during this time to ensure reaching your goal weight if at all possible. It does not mean you won't lose weight after this time. Yes, you can still lose weight by following the rules of eating and exercise. Mary

You haven't screwed up ... remember each one of us is different on what we lose, how fast we lose etc. My brother is over 2 years out and if he follows the rules he still can lose weight. So eat your protein, drink your water, stay away from those carbs, and EXERCISE ... you will get to your goal. Mary
