Where are you with your weight loss
Hi all,
I ususally don't post here, I ususally stay on the Texas board. I had my surgery on Feb 17,2004, and I have lost 75 pounds so far. Don't get me wrong, I am VERY happy that I got to have WLS, but on some days, I feel like I am loosing too slow. What I was wondering is, where are you with your weight loss, how much have you lost?

Hi Kimberly
I had surgery on 2/3/04 & I have lost 95lb since surgery & 50 before surgery, so that is a grand total of: 145lb You are doing wonderful so try not to compare to others because everyone's body is different & some depends on how much you have to lose initially anyway (heavier people tend to lose quicker at first). Keep up the great work though - you will be there before you know it. God Bless

Hi Kim,
I too had surgery on 2/17/04 and I too have lost 75 pounds! haha ...I think we are right on track. I am constantly reading here and it seems like the 75-85 pound range is where most Februarians are. Don't worry about the numbers so much, but worry about doing your best. Are you utilizing your tool to full capacity? Are you excersing? getting your water in? vitamins? protein? If you are, then you are on track. If you are not...then remember we are approaching the end of our honeymoon period and it will NEVER again be as easy as it is now!! Best of Luck to you, you are doing great!
Hi Kim! I had my surgery on 2/17/04 and have lost a total of 84 pounds. I am very happy with the loss, but sometimes I feel like it is a little slow. Since I am not able to do a lot of exercises because of lumbar disc degeneration and arthritis, just seeing any weight loss is wonderful to me. You are doing great Kim. Keep up the good work and remember, "protein and water, vitamins and calcium, and of course "exercise" will make it all come off right.
