BACK FROM HERSHEY PARK

Hi Everyone. Back from Hershey Park. I worte about it in my profile...I think. Damn..memory isn't what it used to be. Either way, I ended up fracturing some ribs on the roller coaster. So I am in some pain here!!! Right now I have to wear a brace. Doc says after 10 days the bones should start fusing back together but who knows how long it is going to take to heal. I am upping my calcium intake now to 2000 mg of calcium citrate. This sucks. Joanne

Holy Cow, Joanne! Which roller coaster were you on and how did you fracture your ribs? Wishing you a quick recovery. Other than the obvious, did you enjoy Hershey? It's really a nice place to live/visit. Take care of yourself. Denise

Joanne, I'm so sorry to hear about your ribs... that must be painful. Glad you had a good time tho. Saw your note about the weight gain while on vacation. It may be due to a number of things ... more carbs than normal, more salt than normal, heat can cause water retention ... the weight will come off quickly don't worry just stay on track. Mary

Joanne, Sorry to hear about your ribs, hope you had a good time anyway. Do you think our bones are not as strong because we don't absorb the calcium the way we used to? Feel better soon!! Jacque
