had a sleep study test done last night and got the results this morning. I no longer have obstructive sleep apnea and can stop using my CPAP immediately!!!!! I have used one for 3 years now. I had this surgery to hopefully cure my BP and the sleep apnea. I have been off all BP meds since 1 week after surgery and as of today officially no longer have sleep apnea. Am I excited???, you bet!!!! I did not have one obstructive apnea incident during the night. Also the other incidents they register (shallow breathing etc) was at 5.2 ... normal is 0 to 5 so they feel there is nothing for me to worry about. Isn't this the greatest!!! Mary

Thank you. Actually my CPAP was very quiet. My current one is only a couple of months old. Hal never hears it unless the mask has slipped/leaking. What I often hear is the air hitting the pillow. Don't think it will be a problem. (least I hope not). Mary

That is awesome news! The cpaps are life savers, but it is so nice not to be tied to a machine. Will you miss the white noise? Debbie -58
