Horseback Once Again!

One of my personal goals was to go horseback riding again. Well I finally did it! We just got back from vacationing on the Oregon coast and my husband and I went trail riding. I haven't been riding in 30 years and it all came back to me just like it was yesterday. I loved it! I was a little sore but not bad. Just had to share, Susan

Congratulations!!! I personally would never ride a horse. I am too afraid to. I saw a video clip on Americas Funniest Videos once where a girl, smaller than me, got on the horse, seconds later the horse buckled and almost went down! All I could think of is if I get my fat ass on a horse...he's gonna buckle!!! I don't think I could live down that humiliation. No horses for me! Joanne

I saw that one. Don't let it scare you. It wouldn't happen to you. It was the horse not the size of the woman. Look at how big hoss on Bonanza was - he still rode. When we made the reservations to go riding they asked how much we weigh and I told them that my husband and I both weigh about 200 lbs. It wasn't a problem and we had a lot of fun! thanks for the response. Susan
