Very Happy

Happy Independence Day to all. Today I went to GNC and purchased two whey protein mixes and a dietary supplement. I explained my situation to the clerk who was very helpful. He gave me Solotron and told me I would see a dramatic result in how I feel after taking these just a week. Well I hope so my scale isn't moving very much lately. I know from reading all the posts here that uping my protein will help it start to move again. This surgery has truely changed my life. I am still the same person I was before just, have a little more self confidence and know how I want to be treated. I am also finding out who all my true friends are. After losing over 120 pounds I went out and bought some new clothes that actually fit. Well the reactions I got at work were mixed. Most people complimented me but there were a few women who whispered about me. It hurt my feelings a little because these are a group of women I use to have lunch with everyday and are all in very good shape. They were very supportive of my decision to have wls. Long story short with each passing week of this journey they have avoided me and now hardly ever speak to me. I refuse to let them bring me down from this natural high I am on! Congratulations Trisha!!! You have done great. I have noticed that some people are very petty and self-absorbed also. They are so jealous of you getting the attention that they cannot see straight. You are better off knowing how these people are now before you tried to depend on their support. I am sorry that you had to go through this, but not everyone treats others the way they would want to be treated themselves. Keep up the great work and keep that head high, you are doing wonderful!!
