Hi Everyone, We just got back from Phoenix after spending almost a week there. It was beautiful. I haven't flown in years and this time the seat belt fit and when I checked out the bathroom on the plane there was room to spare!!! It was wonderful. Our hotel room was on the 3rd floor. The first day we used the elevator to take the luggage up to the room, but after that we took the stairs up and down at least 5 trips a day. A year ago I would of been lucky to do one flight without gasping. I feel so blessed. We went to Phoenix on a fact finding mission to check out the area, experience the climate first hand, and to see some model homes with a real estate agent. After doing all that we found time to go to the Heard Museum and the Science Center too. Had so much fun. What a beautiful area with so many things to do and see. The cost of living is so much less than here in Calif too. So we have come home and decided to put our home up for sale within a couple of weeks and move to Phoenix area. So very excited. I've been doing lots of research on the area for the last couple of months and know this will be a good move for us. We have been boxing things up for weeks as we were having the house painted inside and out. Thank goodness for my weight loss, I was able to help 150% with all of this. What an adventure the next year will be for us. So many positive changes with weight loss and moving. Can't wait. Mary .... -96 lbs as of today

I've been to Pheonix and it's lovely. I know some people don't like to move, but everytime my husband has been transferred, I've kind of looked forward to all new things, new people and new places. It can be very fun if you go into it with a positive attitude. You sound great when you talk about the move, so I'm sure you'll find it to be everything you hope for. Good luck! Julie

Thanks Julie. Hal was laid off from work in April and we can't stay here long term with no job. We have always talked about moving, housing are getting top $ here now and ours will sell quickly. After much thought and discussion we decided to go for it. Hal and I are a great team and I know working thru this together we will do GREAT. Hal has been here his whole life. We met on a cruise and when we got married, I moved here from out of state 18 years ago. The good news is most of the house is already packed. We had the inside of our home painted last month and had to back almost everything up for the painters. Then left it packed when we talked more and more of moving. Mary
