Plastic Surgery
Has anyone thought about plastic surgery yet? I am going to start on my search for a surgeon, even though I don't need it yet but the skin is sagging. My butt is gone. My thighs are sagging. My breast, well I don't think I can call them that anymore. .
Research your P/S just like you did for your WL surgeon. Educate yourself as much as you can with information. And pass it on to your fellow February post ops. We need to stick together.
Keep this board alive!

Yep - I'm saggin' & draggin' already. My boobs . . . well my boobs look like a couple of tennis balls in the bottom of tube socks & my butt?? . . . all I have left is a back & a crack
I haven't started doing any research yet - because I'm still hoping that a lot of it will firm up. My doc tells me that since I'm so young & never had any kids that there is a good possibility that I won't need ps. I haven't decided if I believe him yet or not.
But anything good that I find out I will for sure pass on . . . & I would love to know about anything that anyone else comes up with too.

Annette,
I had listened to a PS discussion giving by a Plastic Surgeon. He said he highly recommended that a patient be at goal weight a minimum of 3 months before having any surgery done so that the weight has stabilized. For many insurance will not cover the PS and it can be costly. I agree, if PS is considered we should definitely research the surgeon too.

I have thought about it. As soon as the time is right, I NEED it. I have bat wings! And to top it off...one is bigger than the other. I don't need no stinkin' airline, I can fly myself!
I am hoping that when the time comes for me to check in on this, they have better techniques than they do now. I really don't want long scars on my arms.
As for my boobs, I was thinking about plastic surgery way before I had WLS! These puppies are hanging so low that someone is going to mistake them for nuts!
