Hello Everyone.....
This is my first time posting a message even though I read all the time. I really want to know if anyone else is between sizes w/ clothes. I was about a 26/28 to 30/32 pre-op, now I can wear a 18/20 top but pants size is a bit difficult to find. A 22/24 fits but is very loose in the thigh area( a have always had a round belly) but b/c of my belly a 18/20 is too tight. Is anyone else having to deal with this issue? Also, I have read and listened to other W/L patients have to say about the water issue and other beverages. I have just been too afraid to try anything other than juices(s/f) and water and s/f tea. Does the propel water have sugar and is it as tasty as people say?
Hi Lillie,
I am in between sizes too. I can fit into a size 16 but for my own comfort level its still a little too tight in the belly. And esp with scrubs (I wear for work) a L is too big but a M is too tight...its awful!!
I dont like the propel waters but the smar****ers do it for me. They are good even though I have a problem with artificial sweetners. I also like the vitamin waters. They do have a small amount of sugar in them but they give you nutrients and have way less calories than juice.

I think the in-between size thing is pretty common. Wish they made clothes in a Misses 15...ha! ha!
Try some of the flavored waters; alot of people say they go down easier than plain water. Propel is a favorite of many and I really like the Walgreen brand of fruit-flavored water which has aspertame, but no calories at all.

I have the same problem as far as clothes fitting. One thing I've found is the junior plus stuff fits a little better. My favorite place to shop is wal-mart but kmart has some cute stuff too. Try the juniors plus size low rise jeans. They are cut smaller through the hips and thighs but fit around my stomach. The sizes run smaller though, so dont be alarmed if you need a bigger sixe then you thought you did....
they fit good and there really cute. Good Luck.

Nope, you're not alone.
I have gotten to where I have no butt, so I have to get clothes to fit the belly. I also have always had more belly than butt, and I really hate how pants and shorts fit right now. I am hoping that when I'm all done, it won't matter so much because my figure will eventually even itself out. Maybe wishful thinking, but I can always hope...
