I'm curious about how the rest of you measure and where you measure? I've lost 61.5" from the following areas: upper arms (both) thighs (both) calves (both) Bust Chest Waist Abdomen (2" below the navel) Hips Sometimes it's really encouraging to measure when the scale isn't moving. Julie

Hey Julie, I also measure my shoulders, neck and wrists. You are so right, the inches are encouraging when the lbs aren't moving down. Michelle

If I had it all to do over again . . . this is what I would do different!! I never took measurements pre-op (or pictures for that matter)!! I think it would make things way easier when the scale doesn't move to at least see the inches falling off. The only way I can tell that I've lost inches is with my clothes. I don't know if it's too late to start or what though. Amanda

I measure: bust, chest, waist, BELLY (ugh!!), hips, upper thigh, calf, and upper arm. I have lost 55 1/2 inches total; and I am SO glad that I kept track of the measurements as well as the lbs!! Sherri C 242/181/140 RNY 2/16/04 -61
