I agree, we all lose at different rates. I think the 50 lbs ahead of surgery has made a difference too. Yes, our starting weights can make a difference too. You are doing GREAT. Congratulations. They told me I would definitely get down to 180 and with really trying lower. To have a normal BMI I need to be between 100 and130. So I would like to weigh 115 to 125 (which is what I probably weighed in the 1st grade). So many positives with this surgery, so many wonderful changes. Mary

Hi everyone! I have really missed you guys! PC wasn't functioning for a few days. Everything going great now. The last visit to my doc's I was 64 pounds down and a week shy of 4 months. I did manage to go on scale yesterday and it showed a 10 pound loss. I don't know how accurate my home scale is though. Let's just keep it at 64 pounds until I go back to doc's next month. Congrats to everyone on their successful weight loss. Keep those pounds a running!

Hi! My 4 month anniversary will be Friday. I'm hoping for another pound gone by then. I've lost 59 pounds since surgery. I lost 80 before surgery. I think we are all doing great. Linda

Hey Renee I'll be 4 months this wednesday & down 57lbs. Plus I lost 10lbs the week pre-op, so I guess you could say 67 . . . but I don't usually count that (only in my own head - lol). I just can't get over how awesome everyone is doing . . . mine seems soooo slow in comparison! Big Hugs! Amanda

Hmmmmmm........neck and neck with the slowest loser-----------54 pounds in almost 4 months. Excercise like crazy and try to follow the rules closely. I had hoped for 100 lbs in six months, doesn't look that will happen but at least I am not gaining. Katherine

I think preop weight has alot to do withhow fast the weight comes off. I was 270 preop and have lost 63 lbs in 16 1/2 weeks. I feel VERY average and am very pleased with my loss. Of course id like to have lost 90 lbs, but it will come!! Rachel 270/207
