Yikes, now I feel bad (just a smidge)... I'm the slowest loser of the group so far. -43 since surgery (2/25/04) -50 pre-op -93 lbs total My surgeon says 2 to 3 lbs per week on the average, so I am on target with his guidelines. It is hard at times tho not to compare my results to others. I know each of us loses at a different rate. I really feel successful and can't believe the charges overall. Mary

Yikes, now I feel bad (just a smidge)... Don't feel bad, even just a smidge I was really sick in the beginning. I lost the first 48 pounds in 7 weeks. I've only lost 36 since then...I only lost 6lbs in April. Also, it appears like I have/had quite a bit more weight to lose than you. My doctor told me that the more you have to lose the quicker it comes off, especially the first few months. I'm a little over 5'9" and I weighed 412 the day of surgery. I weighed 327.5 this morning. My goal weight is about 200lbs.
