My Grandmother made some homemade brownies with mashmellow topping. I cut one in half for my youngest daughter and, for some reason, i started munching on the other half! When i realised what I was doing i stopped, but by that time i had eaten almost half of the half (so 1/4 of a whole brownie!!!) I really expected to be sick or something, but i wasnt. A little bit later i went out and worked it off and then some. But boy oh boy, i was surprised i could eat a brownie and not be sick! Thats the first time time ive done that - started snacking out of habit. Im glad it didnt make me sick, but im gonna have to pay more attention when im sitting in front of food lol! Rachel 270/209

You probably didn't get enough in you to make you sick. If you have a bite or two most of the time I'm okay. I had dumping once and man oh man. I was having a very bad day and i decided that i was going to get me a reeses cup blizzard from Dairy Queen (emotional eating out of old habit). After about 1/4 of a small cup i stopped butit was to late. i got sick and had to lay down for the rest of the day.

Rachel, You probably didn't eat enough to make you sick, it doesn't mean you won't dump. My husband gets brownies and I eat a tiny bite, enough to satisfy my taste buds but not enough to do any harm. Fortunately too they are not around often. It is easy at times to let old habits sneak back in, so we do need to be more observant. Yesterday I grazed most of the day (case of stress I think), I made pretty good choices BUT when I realized what I had done I knew I had to get back on track. Mary

I hate to say it rachel but nothing really makes me dump. I can eat cookies and popcorn and ice cream (atkins low carb ice cream makes me sick but thats it). Meat also makes me sick but b/c it gets stuck not b/c its too dry. Its bad b/c I have started to eat sugar again I notice it affecting my sleeping patterns so I am trying desperatly to stop...the old habits are trying really hard to break back in! Its nowhere near as much as it used to be but its happening and its really hard to stop! A really good sweet I have found thats enough to statisfy and only had 5 grams of sugar and those dove bar bites...I know they have empty calories but the sweet is enough and I cant eat artifical sugar b/c it makes me naseaous. I wouldnt suggest eating more brownie b/c if its not goign to make you sick its going to trigger old habits. Good luck!! Sarah
