I read the post about whether or not the scales are moving and I thought it was interesting that since we all had surgery around the same time (2/13) that allot of us had hit plateau's. I haven't seen a change in 3 weeks or so. I am doing the right things. I have kicked up my exercise a bit the past four days. Hopefully it will help. I measured and have lost 1/2 inch each in waist, hips, bust and thighs, but no weight!! I hope my scale moves soon. Hope everyone is having a good day. Susan

Isn't it aggrivating? I feel like nearly a whole month has slipped by. I of course have not exercised. That and a few extra carbs are my downfall. My SIL made below her goal and only walked on the treadmill the first 4 months, and always had carbs. (bad carbs, candy ect) I know everyone is different and it will come off at different rates, but I have to admit I have thoughts of doubt. I still feel it might not happen. I don't understand how we loose inches and not pounds. I can get into all my 16 zip up pants, but didn't loose any weight for 20 days, until this week. Great mystery. Debbie -53

Me too. I've been bouncing the same 2-3 pounds around since May 27th. One day I'm down a lb or two and am just sure it's going to keep on going; the next day, they're back! I've measured and lost about 1/2" in my abdomen and 1/2" in the hips...that's all, but some people at church told me they thought it looked like my whole body had reshaped itself in the last two weeks.... go figure! At least the scale isn't going up, up, up! Julie

This board is great! Didn't know it was here. I am in the same boat with you all. I am in a plateau for hell and it very annoying. I am losing inches. Shirley

Well I guess allot of us are in the same boat! Hopefully our bodies are reshaping themselves and we will continue to lose again soon. It's suppose to be a 6 month honeymoon period, not 4! Hang in there all, Susan

I never knew if I hit a plateau or not. I only get on the scale only when I go to the doctor for checkups. I love surprises and not disappointments. I just make sure that I do everything that I supposed to do. Its going to work out just hang tough guys. I think that our bodies may be trying to play catch up with the rapid weight loss and all. Keep the faith and don't give up. Jaunine Jackson, MS 328/255/196

Hey!! a 2/16 twin I agree with the other psters, your loss will stop and start every couple of weeks or so...It's been that way with me all along. my longest standstill was 2 weeks; and I was beside myself, then it started again. Just keep doing what you are suppose to...it works!! Sherri C. 242/181/140 -61 RNY 2/16/04
