All the HAIR!!!!
I still have not had the hair loss but notice that i am a week or two (surgery date) behind most of you. I am ready for it to start happening any day now. I am really starting to believe that no matter what we do protein, biotin, water wise that if it is going to happen it is going to happen and i too am ready to purchase a wig if it does. my hair is very fine and i already wear it short since my hair is curly. I wa**** with a Pantene volumizing shampoo, also conditioner put a little wax in it, blow dry it til it is almost dry and go. i don't even brush or pick it during the day cause i am worried that will cause it to fall out!!
I have posted before that i have friends who have had the surgery who admit they did not take their vitamins, protein, etc and did not lose any hair and others that did it by the book and lost hair. I guess we have to keep telling ourselves it is only temporary and we will not go bald
I don't have clumps, but goodness the strands that come out in my hands when I wash, and the strands all over the place when I dry it. I can't really tell a difference in the thickness of it yet. Mine has been coming out for a month, and just keeps coming out.
I got on my hands and knees and ran my fingers across the carpet in the dressing room. I didn't want it to get caught up in the rollers of the vaccum cleaner. I had a huge mountain of hair. I'm glad my husband didn't see, he would have freaked.
I'm thinking I need to get it cut short, because I'll have a bunch of little spikes, when it does start growing back.

Mine has been comming out in large numbers of stands for about
a month. This week it started comming out in clumps. I wonder
if I should buy a hat so my scalp doesn't burn at the beach, now
that I can wear a swim suit without being totally mortified. My
surgeon says it should start growing back around month 10.
At this rate, I'll be a beacon for Tick or Treaters by October.
My hair goes to about my mid back, I'm thinking of cutting it
this week as a gesture of mercy on my house plumbing and my
poor husband who keeps snaking out the drains.
Pretty carefree, less to wash and dry,
Eileen
