Hi, all. I find myself getting really hungry before bed, and I am more comfortable if i eat something (usually 1/2 of an atkins chocolate coconut bar--my sweet treat!). Is this an issue for anyone else, and have any of your docs warned against late eating right before bed? I have checked my doctors information and there is nothing specific. Just wondering! My doc has a list: 1. drink plenty of water 2. eat your protein first 3. Take your vitamins 4 Exercise 5. No Snacking Certainly takes the fun out of it, but i do snack every so often, sometimes i eat my veg first and i really dont exercise all that much. of i forget my vitamins sometimes,, the only thing i am sure of is my liquids i do drink alot kelly

I, also, get night time hunger and I feel the same way you do, if I eat something I will be able to go to sleep. I know we are not suppose to snack and I know this is just head hunger, but it is powerful head hunger. I usually eat some watermelon or something low cal, but I am really trying to fight it. I am considering putting up notes to myself. I have actually gotten up in the the middle of the night and ate something and not even remembered it until I saw some tell tale sign the next morning. I am considering talking to my doc about it. I have lost 130 pounds before and after surgery, so I am doing well, I just don't feel completely in control with this night hunger thing. Thanks for sharing, it's been on my mind. Susan
