Went to the movies
Hey all,
just had to say I went to the movies this weekend and not only could i fit into the seat i had plenty of room!
On the other hand because of the weight loss i have been able to cross my legs, so now i have some nerve damage in the popliteal nerve (knee area) , who knew?
The doc says i should be able to heal 100% but not sure if i need surgery yet. yuck i am so fed up with surgery,
I have to get all sorts of tests and have to wear a foot brace because i have foot weakness and keep falling. being 40something and falling is not fun,
Sorry just needed to vent about that,

I forgot to say what movie! LOL it was the day after tomorrow. it was really good but the movie theatre was not very pleasant, no surround sound. plus everyone in there and it was packed seemed in a bad mood because they couldnt see over the person in front.
i too hope everything works out, thank you for replying

Congratulations Kelly!! Isn't it awesome?? When I went on a trip a few weeks ago & I was able to get into the airplane seat (w/room to spare even) I started crying!!
By the way . . . I didn't know that crossing your legs was bad for you. I was actually really excited at the fact that I finally could. There's another bad habit that I'm going to need to break now - lol. I hope everything turns out "ok" with your knee & that you are able to heal without surgery!!!!

I was reading your post and it came to mind that I also went to the movies 2 weeks ago and the seat was comphy, but my true test was a trip to our new stadium in Philly. I have not gone to a Phillies game in years because the seats left me with large brusies on my thighes.Well I fit and it was ok but the leg room was tight, what you gonna do.
I do feel so much better sitting anywhere, lawn chairs were hard for me and now I can do it without feeling like I will fall out of it......We all have a better seat where ever we go now right......Good luck to all...Ps..I am dowm 70lbs and 34inches....WoooHooooo for me.........Marion
