Obstruction?

Hi, all. I think maybe I overdid it yesterday on baby carrots...maybe didn't chew as well as I should have. The rest of the day I had (what I thought were) hunger pangs. When I tried to eat things came back up (even a carnation instant breakfast--remember those????) but I got some tea down. This morning I still feel a little off--has anyone experienced this? Thanks! You really might want to call the doctor's office and see what they have to say about it. The concern would be if you can't keep fluids down as you could become dehydrated. When I had some chicken stuck, I had lots of pain and vomiting for a few hours. It finally dislodged and there was immediate relief. Hope you feel better soon. Mary

I hope you feel better soon. I would call my surgeons office just to be sure. I only had one incident with food being stuck, or at least felt like it. I immediately threw up and felt better. I also felt weak and out of it for the rest of the day. I hope it was just the carrots. Debbie -52

Thanks, guys...I was able to eat some this morning, and I am being especially careful about liquids so I don't wilt!!! If the discomfort continues I will call my surgeon! Love the Feb 2004 board! Liz 238/173/140

baby carrots made me sicker than a DOG....I don't know what it was about them; but I was vomiting worse than I ever did with getting chicken stuck.....Thought I was gonna die I had tried them before, and they didn't make me sick; but let me tell ya, I haven't tried them since!!!
