What are your plans for Memorial Day???

Let's see...I get to do paperwork at the Jaycee office and go to a WLS support group meeting...Whoo-Hoo...If you really want to feel sorry for someone....I am going to try and get pregnant next year. At 37...we have no kids. I am going to be the only one with a 6 year old that is RETIRING....(sigh)

Girl, I had my last child at 37 and she is a blessing for sure! I assure you, you won't be the oldest one at graduation. Debbie -52

Well Mother Nature seems determined to take some of the fun out of Memorial Day. The forecast is for severe storms on Monday. Today was fun though. I went to the Pirate game with my husband, youngest daughter and my son. I walked quite a bit and climbed stairs without getting winded! I drank two bottles of water during the game Oh and I was comfortable sitting in those narrow stadium seats! We lost the game to the Cubs but I enjoyed it anyway. Maybe tomorrow I will relax with a good DVD. Linda

I plan to go to the beach first thing tomorrow if the weather permits. I am making subs for my husband and sons and turkey salad in a bowl for me! I just finished baking cookies to take and did not feel like I had to sample! If it rains I think we will go see Shrek 2. We had a lovely Memorial Day service today at church and honored all of the retired and active duty military who attend. I live in a military town so that is a lot of men and women! Liz
