Snacking
Hi,
I had my surgery on Feb 11. I have lost 60 pounds so far. The last couple of weeks I have been having problems at night with snacking and its not just the sugar free stuff. Chips, peanuts, cheese & crackers. (I don't eat a lot but I'm still doing it). Old habits. This scares me. What if I am one of the ones that will gain the weight back. Does anyone else snack at night and if so. What
Does anyone have this problem. Nothing seems to satisify me. During the day I don't want to snack. Today was the 1st time I did and it was a very very small piece of cake (about 2 1/2 bits).
I don't get sick on anything. Sometimes I wish I would.
Any suggestions.
Thanks
Tina
Hi Tina,
I know exactly what you are going through at work I don't snack much but at home at night I eat like chips and cheese dip or crackers and cheese or stuff like that. I don't know as well what that is doing to me I am down 73 lbs surgery was 2/23/04 I do get sick though but that is with food in general I vomit at least once a day.
I hope you find some good advice so I can share in it.
Thanks,
Jeanne

I have the same problem if I don't make myself eat an adequate dinner. Sometimes I'm not really hungry at dinner time (due to pushing fluids all day at the office), but if I don't eat on a regular schedule, I'll find myself wandering the kitchen later and some of the choices I make, aren't the best ones.
It helps if I make sure I have good protein snacks around like deviled eggs, shrimp and string cheese.
Good luck
Julie
