Have you had more congestion/sinus troubles since surgery?

I haven't ever had such a bad year with sinus, mucus and phlem. I can't ever seem to get totally over it. I just finished a round of antibiotics for a sinus infection, and now I have started a very productive cough. This has been going on since a few weeks after my surgery in Feb. I know we live in a high pollen State, but like I said I haven't ever had this so bad. I had my first bought of coughing and phlem about the end of Feb and all the way into March, then it got better and I started having the head stuff, and nasal stuff. Will it ever get better? Debbie, Altho I seem to be doing more sneezing my allergies are really doing much better since surgery. I've only had to take allergy meds once since surgery. At support group last time, there was quite a discussion on the connection between our tummies and our noses. So many said that right after eating they always had a runny nose now. Others said it they ate till full or overfull that they either sneezed or hiccupped. But no one knew why. Hope you feel better soon. Mary

I've never had allergies, but even before surgery, always sneezed about ten times after eating. Now as a post-op, I do find my nose runs more, especially after I eat and I still sneeze after eating. My nose seems to run even more when my pouch is not happy! If anyone finds out why this is so, let me know!
