I think I am doing well with my eating and exercise, BUT my problem is remembering to take my vitamins. I use the vitamins from Andrew Lessman. I have allergies and the additives in regular vitamins made me ill. Andrew's are no additives and I've been able to take them with no problems. The vitamins are 5 capsules and they seem like a meal in themselves. I use to take my vitamins with lunch, so was never a problem to remember them. Now I take them in between meals and that is why I can't seem to remember them. I know how important they are. Anyone else having problems remembering???? Mary

Yes, yes, yes, I'm having trouble remembering! I have to take my synthroid first thing in the morning and wait 1hr. This throws me off. My pill keeper will only hold 4 of my calcium tablets, so I have to play games to remember if I took my multi vitamin. I usually put the container my vitamins come in on the counter, and after I take it I put it back in the cabinet, but I have been forgetting to take it out lately. I take 2 of my calcium sometime during the day and then try to take the other 2 before bed. There have been many days lately where I still have 2 calcium left from the previous day. I need to find some kind of pill keeper that has deeper holders. This one was free from the pharmacy. I have seen presentations on tv by Andrew Lessman and Dr. Taub, but get so confused. Debbie -51

I found a keyring at GNC that holds vitamins...it has really helped me, since i am on the go all the time and only home about 20 minutes in the morning and an hour at night! I am sure they sell them somewhere else, too... Liz 238/177/140

Well, at least you're doing great at exercise....I'm still working on that. And yes, I have trouble remembering the vitamins. I keep the box sitting on the kitchen counter so I handle the morning pack (Vista Vitamins) pretty well, but I frequently forget the evening pack and I'm trying to figure out a way to flag it for myself! I keep my biotin, Citra-cal and B12 at the office because I don't take them with my vitamins and it helps me to remember to take them when I open my desk drawer. Julie

Hey Julie How are you liking the Vista Vitamins?? I've been trying to research everyone's feedback on them & it's looking like a lot of people say that they burp them up for the rest of the day - or that it irritates their pouches. I've been really good about taking my vitamins (childrens chewable, tums, b12, vitamin c) but lately I've been dragging my butt & I know that I need to switch vitamins. It's just that even at 3 months out - I'm having a really hard time swallowing the pills. They get caught in my chest until I decide to them back up (sorry). I e-mailed Susan Maria - because she is always so super helpful & she suggested that I try the chewable ones. Are those the ones that you're doing?? Thanks for any input Amanda -49

No, I'm not using the chewables. I HATE chewing pills I'm using the capsule packs and have been for nearly 2 months now. I have no problems with them at all...no burping, etc. They don't make me sick or queasy, even if I take them on an empty stomach (which I frequently do because I take them first thing in the morning). I have to take them one at a time (obviously), but I just take them with water, juice or whatever protein drink I'm having at the moment. Personally, I like them alot, however I do still supplment some Biotin and Citral-cal in spite of their claim to be toally sufficient. My son is a pharmacist and he didn't think it was enough calcium. I'm getting new lab work done tomorrow so I'll let you know the results when I get them back. Julie -61

I surely have a problem with remembering to take my vitamins. I take Chewable Centrum and I am supposed to take 2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon and usually forget to take the afternoon pills. I am looking into trying the Vista Vitamins. I am glad that they can be swallowed. I haven't tried to swallow a pill yet. I crush my Synthroid and they are tiny. But you are not alone, I forget too.

Doctor told me that as soon as I had been on solid food for at least two weeks then I could take pills/capsules and there should not be a problem. I do cut my calcium citrate pills in half as they are so large. Mary
