I can see it in your face

I've seen several posts now that mention the first comment about our changing appearances is that observers say they can see it in our faces. I too got that comment very early on, and I noticed Dorothy mentioned also in her 3 month pictures. I've thought about this and I think I have it figured out. Our faces are the first thing people see when they look at us. Many people are not terribly observant, but our faces can't be avoided. When we are angry, happy, sick or sad our face is the first to give away our mood or physical discomfort. While I have a hard time seeing the changes in my body, I can't deny that my face has changed. Is it any wonder that this is the comment we receive first and most often? Is it not true that this is also the first place YOU noticed a change in you? Now that I have this figured out, even that small acknowledgment that I'm changing is a complement to me. I've heard that comment too. I was told by a diet dr. years ago, that we loose from our face, neck, then waist, abdomen, and finally hips. Well, most people do. I'm sure other loose differently, but I can bet we all see it in our faces first. Debbie -50

seems strange that if people see your face first they say I see it in your face.. strange how all the men close to me have noticed how my boobs have gone down Good thing that I have the sence of humor to deal with them when they make these comments.. hehe Lee

Lee, LOL... you must hang around a bunch of red-blooded men! Yes, my boobs have gone down too. My husband has commented that its much easier to tell when I don't have a bra on now. Hey, at least he's still looking! Windy/Pat

Hi Pat, I sure do hear the same comment about my changing face. I am now told it is getting thin and long Your right getting that told to us is a compliment. I'll be happy when I loose alot more and hear alot more. Best Wishes Keep up the good work, Jill
