I know I'm a little late with this, but things do get busy and so on. Anyhow.....I went to see my doc on Friday and she told me that my hypothyroidism has disappeared. Since my wls I have lost 59.3 pounds. My doc says that she is so amazed at how my body is changing. She says she has never seen the thyroidism react to weight loss like that. I was so happy. No more medication for that. She also has lowered my high blood pressure medication. Isn't that wonderful? I feel like I am being given new life. I intend to do much better with this one then in the past. Horray for wls!!!!!

Good for you, that is amazing. You have probably added years to your life already, it is so great all the added benefits that the surgery brings. For those of us that had given up before, it really is like a new life...treat yourself well and don't take anything for granted. You are doing so good, keep it up!!!

Thanks Dorothy! You are right. I don't ever want to take any of the added benefits this surgery has given to my new life. I feel so much better already. Keep up the good work!
