First real true plateau

Okay...I think this is the real thing. I went back on fitday to check and I've been wrestling with the same 3 pound for 17 days and I'm getting so tired of it. And I'm really trying to do the right things...yesterday, I had 124 grams of protein, 27 carbs, and 97 oz. of water. I keep trying to remind myself that my SIL did the same thing; lost 50 pounds in 3 months, went 2 months with no loss and then lost 35 more pounds the next month. I HOPE that happens to me as well. Julia, it sounds like you are doing great. you are doing much better than I am with protein and water. Keep your positive attitude. I haven't plateaued yet, and I'm sure I will be as frustrated as well. Are you exercising? Good luck. Don't fret. Denise 2/16/04 and -58.5 pounds

Hang in there, Julia. We all hit the ol' plateau. The first one usually isn't that long (2-4wks). Just remember that pre-surgery, you were on a life-long plateau. So, by comparison, this one won't be that bad . We'll be here to keep your spirits up until the loosing starts again. Best wishes Darrin

Good point Darrin, thanks. Better to be on a plateau than a steady incline like I was before...I'll hang on to that!

I didn't lose hardly anything all last month and then I lost more than 10 lbs over two days last week. It's frustrating but it passes. Keep up the good work.
