started xanax today??????????
Eve, everyone is so different and everyone's life situation is different. If you have researched this surgery and you feel confident about your surgeon, then this procedure can be a very good thing and you can be happy and look forward to a healthier, happier life. I have three children and yes I worried about them but I also worried about what would happen if I didn't do this for myself. I have missed doing things and going places with my kids because of my weight. It was getting more and more difficult to get around. I was very worried about my health. I was tired of yo-yo dieting. These are just some of the reasons I had for having an RNY. You have to think about what is best for you. I don't know how old your kids are but I'm sure they will be happy to see their mom happy and healthy. I am so glad that I had the surgery. I'd do it again in a moment but I'm glad I don't have to! It isn't an easy journey but I sure am glad that I'm on my way. It takes hard work and commitment. (By the way I have anxiety disorder and I take xanax. It has helped a lot. ) Hang in there, Eve. I'm sure things will go well. Wishing you the best. Linda
