Here's an interesting question they asked on the main board: What do you do for a living? It was really fun seeing how broad the spectrum of interests were. They were a pretty talented group of people. I'll start: I work as an Executive Assistant to a private real estate investor who has more money than Fort Knox. I should be so lucky! It's pretty interesting and it keeps me busy enough that I don't day dream about food. Julie

Well before I lost my job (due to "cutbacks") I was a graphic designer at a newspaper. I am still in school and really need to get my butt off the boards so I can finish my homework. I love graphic design. Joanne

Oh, I'm sorry you lost your job. I also lost my "dream job" in December due to cutbacks in our local health system so I had to go find something else. Now my previous boss has accepted a new position in Madison, WI and since he's the "other man" in my life (we worked SO well together and I loved it!****ep asking my husband if he's sure he doesn't want to relocate to Madison so I can go back to working with Frank. I've also applied to go back to school to complete a business degree in Management and Communications. We'll see how that goes. Julie

The job that pays me is the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. I work within the Department of Public Welfare in The Office of Mental Retardation. I've been in the field of mental retardation/developmental disabilities in a number of different capacities for the past 12 years. The job I love is being a mom and wife, the pay sucks, though.

I get to help people decorate their homes with beautiful Baskets, Pottery and Wrought Iron. I started selling Longaberger® Products (home based business) about 6 years ago just to get my stuff at a discount. I now have 40 people on my team and I work at it full time. I love the products and I love being able to work at home. It sure has made this surgery a piece of cake for me since my office is in my basement! Have a great day everyone! Gloria

Well, in my former life I worked for a larger Grocery Chain. I worked in Human Resource, Grocery Buying, Directs Buying and Accounts Recievable. I quit to stay home with my three boys, and the three boys became four boys. LOL I decided I had been home long enough and went to work a large OB/GYN group. I didn't not know I was already pregnant with my fifth child when I started. I started throwing up in the morning and it slightly resembled morning sickness, but nah, I couldn't be. We use protection. Sigh.... Oh yes, I was pregnant with that Girl I had been praying for, for so many years. I suppose when I told God, "Okay, you win, I'm happy with my four healthy sons. I shouldn't be greedy and need that daughter" I went back into the workforce and tada there she was. It was nice working in the Dr.s office. We had ultra sounds from 6wks until delivery. They had me jump up on the table all them time. LOL My daughter is not camera shy. I decided to stay home after she was born. I just couldn't leave that tiny beauty. I have had a licensed home daycare since 1999. I smocked for the public and 2 specialty shops in town, but it was feast of famine. I needed a steady income, and this afforded me the opportunity to be home for my children and provide a nice atmosphere for other children. I have had some of the most wonderful experiences with my daycare children and their families. Debbie -45

Well lets see, I have been the manager of APPS Paramedical and also Accu Test drug and alcohol testinf since we opened in March 2002. I had gone to school to be a medical assistant which I did for a while before being laid off do to cut backs. My training as an MA was actually what got me this position. The owner of the companies is wonderful and all my employees actually work out in the field. So 95% of the time I am the only one in the office. This weekend I am signing up to sell Cookie Lee jewlery. I could really use the extra money right now. I am also in the process of getting my realestate lic. I love my current job but really don't make enough. Di -67
