Then is it splenda that gives you the headache or do they use a different sweetener? I have had water with 4 slices of lemon and sweetener in restaurants. Although I ony take a sip or two cause I am getting ready to eat. It is yummy. Joanne

Walgreen's has some flavored waters that are wonderful and they're so much easier to drink than plain water. I love the raspberry and the mixed berry. Julie

Thanks Julie, i will try those also. there is a walgreen's right up the street from where i work. so these have no carbonation in them?

No carbonation; no sodium; virtually nothing and they're good. I think they're usually about $.99 for a 24 ounce bottle; sometimes they're 4/$3. It's Walgreen's brand and flavors include raspberry, mixed berry, peach, orange, lime, grape, etc.

Do they have asparteme? I just can't do the SF drinks. I wish they would come out with splenda drinks. Debbie -45.5

i emailed julie thanking her for the suggestion but wanted to post here also. i went to walgreens at lunch and bought some of the flavored water. it is wonderful. it is a little sweet but NOT too sweet like crystal lite tastes to me. it is sweetened with Splenda. i am sipping on the strawberry right now. if anyone else gets as tired of plain water as i do i encourage you to try it.

I'm so glad you liked it. Pre-op I drank lots of water, but post op, I find I simply cannot tolerate it. It's "heavy" or something and it just sets wrong. Finding the Walgreen's flavored water was the best thing that's happened to me. Julie

How about getting your protein supplement with your snow cone. i drink the Isopure drinks in orange, grape (my favorite), apple, fruit punch, etc. I really like that stuff, it comes in 20 ounce glass bottles with 40 grams of protein. I get them at GNC and am seriously thinking about buying a snow cone machine now...it sounds so good.
