Happy to be here!
Hi, Let me introduce myself. Most folks call me Windy, so you can too. I'm (hold on, doing the math) 52 married a helluva long time and have one daughter. I checked out this board shortly after my surgery and didn't see much posting going on. Last night I decided to check back. Wow, I am so happy I did. I've been reading the posts and really like the effort to get this board active. I like the idea that we're all at about the same point in our journey. I read the main message boards religiously, but sometimes they just get me down. Most of the posts just don't apply to me. I'm sure I'll have many of the same questions when I'm at the same point as those folks but until then, I need to discuss my journey with folks that can relate at the same time. And that's you guys! Thanks for being here and I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you!

Hi Windy! I read your post and I'm glad you like the board. I enjoy it also. I like to keep up with other people who have had surgery around the time I did. I haven't lost quite as much as you, but I'm getting there. Anyway, I just thought I'd introduce myself to you and say welcome to the board. Keep up the good work. And on we go!

Windy,
Welcome to the group. Hope you will post often. This board has such potential if we all participate on a regular basis. I hardly ever go to the main board any longer, post here, the over 50 board (over 50 in age not lbs lost), and the state board. Like the smaller groups as they are much more personal.
