Keeping your mind off food

What do you do to keep your mind off food during the day? First I try to stay away from the kitchen as much as possible. Most of the time I'm still not hungry but I do know when it is time to eat (tummy feels different). I love doing machine embroidery, decorative painting. So those keep me busy. I spend a lot of time on the computer too (but you already probably assumed that... LOL). I try to get out of the house each day and go somewhere I can walk. Also Ride the exercise bike here at home. Lately have been watching lots of movies too. We joined netflix.com and you get unlimited movies for $20 a month. It has been great. We watch at least 3 movies a week, sometimes more. You order on-line, the movies are mailed and once viewed are mailed back. We typcially get overnight delivery from them. This weekend I have Calendar Girls and Cheaper by the Dozen to watch. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms too. Mary

Hi all Just found this Feb. board. didn't know they sorted them out. It'll be great hearing how others are doing following the same timeline. As for keeping my mind off food, most of the day is pretty busy at work so eating and drinking is something I have to remind myself to do. But in the evening the head hunger monster comes alive so I tend to get on the computer and just piddle around the house. Would love to hear what and how much the Febbies are eating at this point.

Yes, the monthly boards have been around for a while. They are great as you can share directly with others who are at the same point of the journey as you. The group here is wonderful, so don't hesitate to post away. I agree, keeping busy helps keep our minds off the munchies. Mary
