Anyone have plans for the weekend and how will you handle goodies on Mother's Day? We ordered a new sleeper sofa months ago and it will be delivered tomorrow. Perfect timing as we have an dear friend coming to visit next weekend. So today I need to clean the living room, moving all breakables for the delivery guys to be able to get around without hitting anything. I've been busy doing lots of embroidery for my gift shop. My girlfriend is a member of the Red Hat Society and I created some embroidered shirts for them. I love being creative and the embroidery gives me that opportunity. My mom is out of state and Hal & I don't have kids so Mother's Day won't be filled with goodies. I have gotten hooked on LaSalsa (Mexican Restaurant). They have the best fish tacos and shrimp tacos. One is just enough and I just eat a bit of the tortillo. I have found that I can digest cabbage easily and the tacos have cabbage instead of lettuce. It is really good done that way. Mary

I'm sure the new ???? will be absolutely perfect and just what you were looking for too. What movie are you going to see? I haven't been to the movies literally in over 18 years. When I was single it was just too expensive on my budget, and since getting married we rent a lot of movies so just haven't been. Definitely love watching movies tho. Mary

This weekend is suppose to be busy. My oldest grand daughter will be going to her junior prom on Saturday. Of course, I have to go and take pictures and see my baby off. I also have tickets to a concert at the 1st Marina Arena to hear Donnie McClurkin. The proceeds of this concert goes towards the building of a new youth center for our church and area. Since the building is being named after my deceased father, I think it would be in poor taste if I didn't go. My only concern is that I may not be able to fit in the seats. I've lost some but not enough to be comfortable. Who knows? My daughter will be cooking dinner for me and I'm going to enjoy what I can. I am just so truly blessed. Well, hope your weekend is great too!

You are going to be a busy lady. How wonderful to have the building named in after your father. What a great tribute to him. He must of been very special. I hope things go well for you at the concert. I still worry about the booths at restaurants, but find that I have plenty of room now and kind of chunkle to myself that I worried in the first place. But I know it goes back to all the times I just didn't fit. Your granddaughter is going to feel like a princess going to the ball. I agree, photos are a must. Have a wonderful weekend. Mary
