My name is Denise and I had surgery on 2/16/04. I'm from Central PA and have NO regrets following my surgery. I think I've lost about 55 pounds and feel great. I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter and a husband. I'm 35 years old. I just read a post of Mary's a few minutes ago trying to kick start a more active board. I must say that this Feb 2004 group has been so inspirational for me. I look forward to checking it several times a day. I'm interested in getting to know folks who have shared a similar very personal experience as I have, weight loss surgery. So, feel free to share a moment or a thought or just say hi. How many people are on this board anyway? Can anyone help me to post my picture? I just can't figure it out.

I think our board is kicked into high gear and is doing GREAT. I'm 52 and absolutely have no regrets about the surgery. Each day I feel so much better than a year ago, I'm so much more active. Life is good. I have lots more to lose, but I'm right on track and doing the best I can to stay within the guidelines. Mary -77 lbs since last year

I am 40 and have no regrets....actually I have never regreted anything in my life, good and bad. I love the Feb board more than any other board...well, except the recipe board...lol. So far as of today, I have lost 53 lbs. That is the most I have ever lost so it is kinda weird. Maybe I was expecting a dramatic difference or something...I don't know.
