Well its another beautiful day here in MD. Noticed that no one had posted this morning, so I thought I'd start. I've had my Carnation Instant Breakfast drink this morning, along with my Protinex. Man does that taste send terrible chills through me. Yuck! But you got to do what you got to do. Well, I am dying to get back on the scale, but I'm afraid I am a bit obessive with it. The last time I got weighed I had not lost any weight nor had I gained any. I guess that's good, but it is depressing to say the least. I really have seen the inches fall off. I just measured myself for the first time yesterday. Guess what? I measured smaller than my two daughters (28 and 22 years old). Girl did that make me feel good. My oldest daughter seems to be doing well after her wls two weeks ago. Well, I'm getting ready to go out and look for a new place to move into. Will check in later. What are you all up to today? Take care my wls family and keep losing! Love ya!

Congratulations Evelyn on your lost inches!!! I know what you mean about the scale. I was weighing myself everyday and tracking it on www.fitday.com for the whole month of April. For May, I am going to try to stay off the scale and only weigh myself on the 12th and 26th of every month. These were the dates where the noticable weight loss showed up, the rest of the time was ± 1 or 2 pounds here and there. BTW, my activities for today---I am spending a lazy pajama saturday morning at home right now, I will be getting dressed around an hour or two and then the kid and I will walk for at least 40 minutes before we take movies back and go grocery shopping. I track inches too, it really helps along with photos. Whenever I don't see the changes, I pull the photo out from last year. It's an eye opening for sure. Congratulations on your successes. Mary

Evelyn - i was on a plateau for 4 weeks where i didnt loose any weight! It was very frustrating, so i decided to only weigh in once a week ;) The next time i checked i had lost 3 lbs! I think it was a combination of going back to work and the plateau ending. You arent alone tho!! Congrats on your lost inches and i hope your daughter has a speedy recovery!! As for today.. im not sure what im up to yet... yesterday my sister and i took our kids to a carnival then the mall for some shopping and playing. it was a LONG but very fun day! Today we will either sit around and be lazy or go out and have some more fun!
