Have You been brave enough to try on swimsuits? YIKES!!!
I have always had nice boobs, even after nursing five babies. Well, the density has definitely changed with my weight loss. I really didn't want any other surgeries other than a TT. I think I can live with my thighs, if they don't get any worse. I can wear a swimming skirt (tanki type) and be okay, if they cover the top 3 or 4" of my thighs, but I have about 45 more lbs to loose, so they probably will get worse. I'll have to do something about the boobs. TT's cost about $5700 here and I'm not sure about boobs. Sigh....

BTW I see your weight loss picked up big time! Go Girl!!
it's one of those things. Overnight I lost 3 pounds and the next day gained half back. Water, salt, food...we can't win! But I am not stressing. I have been losing about 2-3 a week for the last month. I can deal with that. I usually lose a pound or two, then for the next ferw days, nothing, then another pound or two.
Hey, a loss is a loss. I would prefer to see the numbers on the scale stay the same and have the numbers on my measuring tape change. They haven't changed in a while.
It feels like it is going to be a while before I hit 50. I hope to hit it by the 6th. That is my 3 month anniversary. If it was only one pound I'd bet on losing it. But now I put back 1 1/2 from yesterday. So now I have 3 lbs to go. Not so easy.
\I wish the weight loss was big time. I will get my boobs done. And it loks like I am developing bat wings. I hate the idea of having scars down my arms. Which is worse, extra skin or long scars visible?
Joanne
I'm developing bat wings too, so far it is confined to my underarm area and 1 or 2" below. I can live with that. I don't wear sleeveless anyway. I have never liked my upper arms. They weren't big, but just self conscience about them. Heck by the time I get this weight off, and I'm a year to 18 months out from surgery, I'll be heading closer to 50. I'll be 44 in June, and I'll be 45 next June. I Wouldn't be able to have surgery until the summer, so my oldest son could help me. I was told we can not lift, pull or carry anything more than 5lbs for 6 weeks. We'll see.

Funny, I have about 100lbs total to lose and yet I have , for me, huge bat wings. I hate raising my arms now. I wonder if they will get smaller at all when I lose more? I love going sleeveless. Shoot, I'd go topless if it were legal and I didn't trip over my "girls". Poor things would have shoe prints on them!

I started usuing the gym facilities at about 4 weeks post-op but wasn't brave enough to try the pool until a couple of weeks ago. I went to wally world and got a suit that looks like shorts over a suit. They can be worn with a shirt over to workout on the treadmill and do aerobics then remove the shirt and swim,( lightweight and easily dried for use daily.) My boobs actually stay in place due to the lycra undersuit's fit but boy do my legs wabble...glad no-one swims underwater there. If they did, they would see just how excess skin looks when it flaps... Think the legs will definately need some skin removal after this shrinking is finished... just swim or walk or run... don't care what others think... you're getting healthy!!!
