I tried on my swimsuits that had gotten too small. Well, they fit again, but definitely not the same way. My boobs keep wanting to slide down out of the shelf thing. The density is definitely different. I need underwire, if I'm going to wear a suit this year, and I sure don't want to spend $70.00 on a suit that won't fit me next year. Well, maybe I could pass it down to my sister, but she hasn't worn a suit in years. Sigh... Debbie -42

Nope, I'm still not brave enough (hope to be someday though). I was just sitting here wondering what I was going to wear tomorrow morning when I go and try out our local water areobics class. I'm used to wearing shorts & a t-shirt (haven't been swimming in years), but I'm not sure if that would work, & I just don't think that I am ready for a suit. Any ideas? Amanda -36

Maybe a slim fitting tank top and some of those swim shorts. You can get them at Walmart. They are thin nylon and dry really quick. You would have to wear bra and panties, but that would wor****il you get a suit. Debbie -42

a tip from a former life guard and pool manager -- you may not be able to wear a t shirt and shorts in the pool. doing so adds to the particulates in the pool -- think of your dryer lint! also, the clothes would be a drag on your ability to do the water aerobics. i just bought a new suit - a tank with shorts attached. now, we'll see if i can wear it outdoors...........yikes, indeed!

I used to go to the gym at the Y and you could wear anythuing. Some wore sweatsuits. The idea behind that was they get heavy and in turn create a bigger workout because of more resistance. Some wore tees and shorts. hey, if it makes you comfortable enough to exercise, you should be able to wear it. That is what pool maintence is for. If you pay enough to go, you should be allowed. joanne

All I can say is OMG!!! Swimsuit, yeah right!!! My family is going on a weekend vacation to the beach for the Memorial day weekend, and I am so afraid. Ok, this is probably to much info, but the inside of my thighs, uggglly, and sagggy!!! A regular suit will NEVER, EVER work for me again, obviously!!! Really, between my legs is scary!! Sorry for the words, it does feak me out!! I'm only 34 yrs old. Definately will look into surgery!! Tracie -60 lbs

I know exactly how you feel about your thighs. I feel the same way. I have NEVER worn anything but shorts in the sun. My upper thighs have no clue what the sun looks like. I just have so much fat on my upper thighs. I am embarassed to wear a swim suit out in public. Sheez....I'm embarrassed to wear it in my own back yard. Isn't it just like that, the minute you get brave enough to wear it in the back yard, someone pops over!!!!!! I am out int he counrty and no one comes to my house....unless, of couse, I don't want to be seen. And God forbid, if I have a shirt on with no bra. Guarenteed someone will show up. Joanne

at my gym, anything but swim suit material is a no no. But I buy the cheap one pieces at Walk-mart - gee they fit better since the surgery!! But at $15, I don't feel so bad when the chlorine eats them up and I have to throw them away after a couple months. But I wore swimsuits before I had the surgery. I was never too hung up on what other people might say or think. I had the surgery cause I wanted to live, and my fat was most assuredly killing me. So I say, go for it. Buy one you like, and feel comfortable in, and to heck with what anyone else thinks. Heck, wear the old ones for a while, and then toss 'em. Candy -79 RNY 2/3/04

My old suit is way too big. Luckily I had purchased a much smaller size before surgery so I don't have to go thru trying on new ones just yet. Plan to get back to the pool at the gym very soon. Have been riding my exercise bike at home tho and doing lots of walking. Mary

That is so funny about the boobs sliding down!!!!!! I can feel your grief!!!!!! I used to wear the tank tops with the built in bra liner. NOW THAT IS A JOKE!!! They still hang! No doubt that PS is in my future for the girls. I was looking into it before surgery. My fiance supports me all the way. He is a boob man. He even went to a PS the other day to have something next to his eye removed and he asked about the cost there. They said 4800., without the hospital stay. I told him, when the time comes I am going to get a doc that has done thousands of them. Joanne -49
