Hi Everyone, First I will start by sharing, I have lost 60 lbs, as of yesterday, and I double checked this morning, 60 lbs gone!!!! I weight less now than when I got pregnant with my first son!!!! Most people never get to say that!!! Lifestyle change.........I had a lifestyly change on 2/3/04. I'm not sure if anyone else understands where i'm coming from but I just (this last week) realized what that means to me. It changed my job, my co-workers, my family (mom, brothers and sisters w/their families), my husband, my sons, my energy, my ache bones, my reflux, my clothes, my confidence, my car (the way I fit into it), my in-laws (not sure how to feel about this one......lol), strangers (I have never been looked at, the way this man looked at me this weekend, atleast not since I called the opposite sex man), my shoe size, my eating (normal as opposed to overeating), my hairstyle (now i'm not trying to hide my fat cheeks), my style (like I have style.........lol.you know what I mean), the way I fit into a movie theatre seat, the way I fit in a booth, my reflection in the windows, my grocery bill (down about $220 in a month....wow), they way I cook, the way I see heavy people, the way I see skinny people, the way I notice what other people eat (why do I do that, more now than before), even my dog (she gets walked now atleast 3 times a week). EVERYTHING has changed.....all for the better. Except my ugly stomache.........lol Just wanted to share, can anyone relate? Maybe i'm a slow learner!!! Tracie - 60 lbs

Tracie, you say so much in your post and I agree with everything. I mention one thing you don't, I don't fear the future. I don't fear growing older. I don't fear that my 2 year old will lose her mother at an early age. Above all that you mention, and you mention great stuff, I have a new lease on life and why did I ignore it for so long. You are doing great and i feel great right along with you. Thanks for your encouraging words.

Hey Denise, Thank you very much, and you are so right!! Fear is not an option!!! I have 2 very active boys (4 and 5 yrs old). To me, I feel like I've added years to my life, and medically that's what i've been told. Like we hear so many times, if i'd of known before, I would have done it along time ago......word from the wise . (That would be us...) Tracie

I completely agree Tracie!!! Except I feel like I am food shopping more now than before b/c of the hit and miss with new foods. I dont feel embarrassed to go out with skinny people anymore, instead I hold my head up high and think I might not be as skinny as you are right now but give me a few months and I will be hotter than you! I dont fear going to the gym anymore b/c I know I am doing a great thing. I like to put on makeup and wear clothes. I love living!! Its amazing but I was hoping that the surgery would allow me to do this!! I love it!!!! sarah 265/219.5/130(?)

Hi Sara, I know what you mean by food shopping more, I think it's because we are now reading labels, comparing protein, fat, sugars, etc... So we are taking more time in the store.....funny how things work. Keep up the good work, your doing great, and keep loving it!!!! Tracie
